What haven’t I done today;
I have not been out. The weather has been foul in every respect. I could not be bothered.
I did not keep an invitation. I forgot to make a brief evening appearance at a farewell gathering for three couples. I knew one couple just to say ‘hello’ to.
I have not started my ironing, but I have added to it.
I did not read my paper; nor my magazine or my book.
I have not watched television, therefore;
I have not have not heard or watched the Eurovision Song Contest. I gave up on that expensive non-event years ago.
The offerings, after Abba, were generally, hopeless, except for the one year when Dana International romped home with a most outstanding song and an outstanding performance of it.
