  1. Really! Twinings tea….mind you, I have seen an abundance of Twinings Tea in St Petersburg.

    What connected me to this video (I don’t usually watch them) was the Russian historical journey depicted in sand characters and objects.

  2. My first viewing…I was bowled over. Sand art portrayal of social history of a society in 8 minutes or so, quite remarkable

    I make it a point to rarely watch videos, they’re usually variable quality, (got one from elsewhere today which was definitely not up my street and 1.5 minutes out of courtesy, was too much time to give it). Something about the Russian one made me stay with it, and worthwhile it was too.

  3. That occurred to me to. I wonder what kind of sand she is using, what treatment if any, it has had. It must have a certain flow structure for the artist to work with in the way she is able.
