It’s been one of those days and for that matter, so was yesterday one of those days. I am rarely melancholic, though I cannot admit to being distraction-free. It is politely called Senior moments. There have a been a few too many distractions in a short space of time. This afternoon, I was a week early for a meeting. I was welcomed and shown the easier route to the front door of the house, than the one I took.
On the bright side, I haven’t gone to the fridge with oven dishes with hot food in them. But then, it is not unknown to take stuff to the oven that ought to be in the fridge. I have not done either of those things yesterday or today, so that’s good.
Today is the anniversary of my mother’s death and I believe it is this that is affecting me.
